Calling all runners, walkers, and Christmas-lovers: The upcoming Santa Hustle will be held this year on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 9 a.m. at the American Legion Mall. The marathon starts right at 9 while the 5K starts at 9:30. There is also a kids’ 1-mile run that starts at 8:30. The race benefits Little Red Door, Indiana’s oldest cancer society. Learn more here.
Head to the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, starting at 5 p.m. This spectacular winter wonderland of lights lasts until Sunday, Jan. 6. Tickets range from $8 to $20 and include a complimentary warm drink and a “buy one admission, get one admission back” deal if you’re planning to visit the museum sometime during January through Valentine’s Day. This awesome exhibit has been at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art since March of 2018 but will finally move on after Feb. 3, 2019. Check it out before it disappears.
